Lancaster & Morecambe College is seeking a reliable Estates, Safety and Wellbeing Administrator to join the Estates team.
As Estates, Safety and Wellbeing Administrator, your role will include assisting the team with administrative tasks, contributing to the development of the Health and Safety Management databases, including training staff on their use, and supporting the setting up and delivery of any Health, Safety and Wellbeing events.
Experience of working in a busy administration team, implementing systems and processes and operating databases is essential to the role. You will possess excellent customer service and organisation skills and be competent in the use of spreadsheets, databases and word processing packages.

Job Purpose:
Key Tasks / Responsibilities:
Assist and support the HSW Lead Co-ordinator, Estates Team Leader and the Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing with day to day administrative tasks, which will include word processing, use of spreadsheets and databases and general administration tasks.
Support the Lead Coordinator in the development of the Health and Safety Management databases and work with the team to further develop them to meet the needs of the College.
Liaise with staff cross-college to research, collect, collate and communicate information on behalf of the HSW team.
Undertake tasks in connection with the preparation of reports and statistics in support of the College’s Health, Safety and Wellbeing system.
Assist with set up and delivery of HSW events, such as wellbeing week activities.
Assist and process external visit paperwork in line with college policies and procedures
Reply and respond, within own knowledge and expertise, to queries in relation to health, safety and wellbeing where possible.
Provide support for general customer service – phone calls, staff/student queries and managing deliveries
Manage the purchasing of essential supplies – First aid and personal protective equipment
Maintain the professional appearance of the Estates reception area
Other duties commensurate with the grade of post as required.
