Caitlain Woods took home the winning prize for the Advanced Apprenticeship category, for her efforts on her Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship at Lancaster University.

LMC were pleased to welcome senior staff from the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) onto campus earlier this month, for a day of informative meetings focusing on curriculum development, green skills and employer engagement. IfATE is the national body which oversees the development and quality of apprenticeship and technical qualifications, and they work collaboratively with employers from all sectors, to shape skills training for the future workforce across England.

Lancaster & Morecambe College are celebrating the news that they have been recognised as Careers Champions by the Careers and Enterprise Company (CEC).  The announcement was made at the ‘Careers Excellence 2024’ event at the House of Lords earlier this week, where the College was commended for its exceptional work in the Building Future Skills category, by embedding careers learning across its whole curriculum.
