As well as taking your own photographs on a range of themes you will look at other photographers to understand their work. You will build a portfolio of work which demonstrates your practical and technical understanding. You will also learn how to use equipment and techniques safely.
This course is designed for adult learners studying part time as a hobby or to support a change in their career.
The course could lead to further part-time study at Level 2 or form part of a portfolio to apply for higher level courses.
You will need a general education at entry level, commitment to study and to be able to work independently.
You should have your own DSLR or a bridge camera with manual settings.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience of animals with students and seeing a learners journey as they make progress.
