This qualification has been designed to address the food safety needs of the catering and hospitality sector according to the National Occupational Standards. It is a requirement that all food handlers are trained in basic food hygiene and this intensive course has been designed to cover all the necessary topics as specified in the syllabus.

Who is this Course for?

This course is designed to support and improve professional skills for the workplace, to enable individuals to further develop their technical skills within the workplace.

What are the entry requirements for the course?

Candidates will be required to bring proof of identity. Failure to bring suitable identification will result in candidates not being allowed to undertake the examination.

The following ID is acceptable:
• Passport • Driving Licence
• Foreign ID Card
• Work ID (e.g. staff badge) accompanied by letter of authority signed by CEO or President
• Rail Card
• Student Union ID
