This 3-day course is essential for anyone who works with or is involved with electrical installations, especially those who work within the domestic and commercial markets. The IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition: BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 form the new standard to which all new electrical installations, additions and alterations are to comply.
You can rest assured that the contents will include everything outlined in the new edition and will meet the requirements for the new City & Guilds syllabus and examination.
You will be provided with an understanding of wiring regulations which must be followed when carrying out any domestic or commercial electrical installation work.

Introduction to the qualification
The role the wiring regulations plays in industry
BS761:2018 structure design and how to use it
Explanation & guidance of the numbering systems
Part 1-7 of the wiring regulations book
You will be expected to undertake occasional home study on this course and will be assessed at the end with an online 2-hour exam
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, you will just need to be involved in the design, construction, inspection, and testing of electrical systems.
This course costs £400.00, including exam fees.
You may be eligible for free study if you are 23 or under and this is your first full Level 2 or 3 course. Alternatively, if you are unemployed, receiving an eligible benefit, and taking the course to help you find employment.
