This 18th Edition 3-day course covers the New Regulations which became mandatory in January 2019.
The course is aimed at Electrical Engineers, who are looking to update existing qualifications, as well as those wanting to join a government approved Part P scheme provider.
The course costs £400 and includes a complimentary learner guide, a meal voucher, registration fees & a certificate. Regulation books can be purchased at a cost of £90.

Course Overview

You will be provided with an understanding of wiring regulations which must be followed when carrying out any domestic or commercial electrical installation work.

Topics include:

  • Introduction to the qualification

  • The role the wiring regulations plays in industry

  • BS761:2018 structure design and how to use it

  • Explanation & guidance of the numbering systems

  • Part 1-7 of the wiring regulations book

You will be expected to undertake occasional home study on this course and will be assessed at the end with an online 2-hour exam

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, you will just need to be involved in the design, construction, inspection, and testing of electrical systems.

Course Fees

This course costs £400, including exam fees.

You may be eligible for free study if you are 23 or under and this is your first full Level 2 or 3 course. Alternatively, if you are unemployed, receiving an eligible benefit, and taking the course to help you find employment.
