This Level 2 Award in Environmental Sustainability course is designed to provide you with knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of sustainability and environmental impacts. It introduces you to key issues in sustainability, raising awareness of the topic and encourages you to consider your role in helping to make sustainable choices.
The units studied on this course are:
Understand the basic concepts of sustainability
Understand the importance of natural resources
Understand the global environmental impacts of agriculture and industry and how they might be reduced
Understand the benefit of sustainable communities
Assessments are offered through an online multiple-choice test that is designed to be taken at the end of the course.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Successful applicants wil have:
a commitment to study
ability to work independently
a proven interest in the environment and sustainability
This course costs £102.60, including exam fees.
You may be eligible for free study if you are 23 or under and this is your first full Level 2 or 3 course. Alternatively, if you are unemployed, receiving an eligible benefit, and taking the course to help you find employment.
