A taster in home baking is a beginners guide to the fundamental skills in home baking, where you will develop your skills to confidently produce a range of baked goods. This will be a mainly practical course with a small amount of written work as well as the collection of photographic evidence to be successful within the course. Assessment will be on going during the practical sessions, and no home study is required.
On successful completion of this course you will gain an Entry 3 NCFE Craft Skills.
Upon successful completion of this course students can progress onto other additional part time courses to build upon skills developed on this course
To study this course learners must have a proven interest in this vocational area and be commited to attending all of the sessions.
This course costs £51.20, including exam fees.
You may be eligible for free study if you are 23 or under and this is your first full Level 2 or 3 course. Alternatively, if you are unemployed, receiving an eligible benefit, and taking the course to help you find employment.
