The Warehousing & Storage Diploma includes the following mandatory content:

• Take responsibility for health, safety and security in your team

Learners select optional content from a variety of optional units.

How long will it take me to achieve this qualification?

The total qualification time (TQT) for this qualification is 400 hours and of this 193 is recommended as guided learning hours (GLH).

How is the qualification assessed?

This qualification is assessed through a portfolio of evidence showing clear knowledge of the Industry, candidates will demonstrate their understanding of how to deal with situations in a safe and professional manner.

The warehousing and storage sector has seen huge growth in recent years due to a variety of factors, not least of all the expansion of online shopping. As a result, there is a growing need for warehousing and storage businesses to recruit individuals with the knowledge and understanding to carry out supervisory duties.

This qualification could assist you in gaining the following employment opportunities:

• Warehouse manager

• Supply chain manager

ELIGIBILITY

• You’re over 19 and do not already have a full Level 3 qualification or higher

• You have not already been funded for a course using Free Courses for Jobs offer, except for 1 short course via the offer. If you don’t meet the eligibility criteria for the offer, all courses are available to be funded via the Advanced Learner Loan.

• You have a full Level 3 qualification, and you earn below the annual National Living Wage

• You have a full Level 3 qualification, you’re unemployed and in receipt of benefits
