Safeguarding adults and upholding the dignity of those accessing health and social care services are key principles in the sector. The purpose of this qualification is to give learners currently working or intending to work in adult health or social care an understanding of dignity and safeguarding and their relevance in health and social care, and how you can work to uphold these key principles. Learners will investigate the principles and how they are applied in everyday work contexts.
Distance learning is a great way of learning remotely without being in regular face-to-face contact with a teacher or an assessor. Students have the flexibility to study at home or at work, fitting in their course around other life and work commitments.
