We completed our first Turing Scheme project during the 2022/23 academic year. This project provided funding for 32 of our students to undertake work experience placements abroad. This included Sports & Public Services students in both Bulgaria and Slovakia, Construction students in Iceland as well as Hospitality & Catering, Travel & Tourism and Business Studies students in Italy.

We are currently running our second Turing Scheme project during the 2023/24 academic year. This project has included two-week work experience placements for over 60 students across a range of vocational areas including:

Animal Care in Vancouver, Canada

Travel & Tourism in Cancun, Mexico

Creative Digital Media/ Art & Design in New York, USA

Football Studies in Alicante, Spain

We are delighted to be able to continue to offer these invaluable experiences to a selection of our students each academic year. We have applied to the scheme for funding for the 2024/25 academic year, including opportunities in Spain, Italy and South Africa.
