We must highlight an extra special milestone here at LMC: Trinity is officially the first-ever female apprentice at our college to fully complete the Carpentry and Joinery apprenticeship! We couldn't be prouder of her for setting such an inspiring example for the next generation of tradespeople coming through. A massive congratulations to an absolute superstar, Trinity Johnston!
Trinity has officially completed her Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship, smashing her End Point Assessment to walk away with a fantastic overall Merit! If that wasn't amazing enough, she also bagged Distinction grades in two of her EPA exams. This is such a massive reflection of her hard work, dedication, and the skills and talent she brings in to workshop every single day.
Trinity first joined us on her apprenticeship in September 2024 and watching her journey over the last couple of years has been nothing short of a joy. She has truly flourished, showing everyone what she is capable of.
Trinity’s tutor Derek says,
Trinity demonstrated throughout level two, excellent attendance and punctuality in both practical and theory lessons. In all lessons she arrived ready for all challenges that may lay ahead of her. She always attends college with the right attitude. Trinity is a very good communicator and will always ask appropriate questions when needed. One of Trinity’s assets is to help other learners when required, she makes herself available and lets others decide on which direction to take on the advice she has given. In the class her portfolio was the first to be completed before time and the quality of her work was exceptional. Trinity asked for extra tuition on a Tuesday evening so she could enhance her practical skills. I was so pleased when Trinity achieved a Distinction mark for her graded exams, she worked for it! Her overall mark is a credible Merit. She is the first female at Lancaster and Morecambe College to achieve this award and is fully deserved.
Trinity, we are all completely over the moon for you and so incredibly proud of everything you have accomplished. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of our college community. We know you are going to do amazing things in your future career, and we will be cheering you on every step of the way!
