What are the best things about your course?
Our tutor, Derek, is extremely helpful, especially when deciding upon methods of constructing the practical tasks.

Why did you choose your course?
I have always been interested in woodworking and wished to expand my knowledge and skillset with the Level 3 course.

Why did you choose Lancaster & Morecambe College?
It has a good reputation and is close to where I live.

If you are looking into taking this course, I can guarantee that you will be taught well and take part in making many challenging and exciting practical pieces.

What has been your biggest accomplishment during the course?
I can not choose my biggest accomplishment it’s between winning the World Skills Inter College Competition in 2015 and making the Gothic Arch Window as part of my Level 3 course.

What do you hope to do when you’ve completed this course?
I wish to continue working in the construction industry to further develop my skills in joinery.

Any other comments?
The Level 3 course has been challenging but this has pushed me to improve my skills and to look at problems as an opportunity to grow rather than something to be stressed about.
