LMC In the Spotlight

All of our courses are designed to enhance careers-related learning with the opportunity to take part in educational trips in the UK and abroad, as well as a range of local, community-based projects. ‘LMC in the Spotlight’ highlights some of the exceptional opportunities we offer to all our students and celebrates their achievements.

LMC launch fantastic vocational learning facilities across campus

We welcomed around 40 guests onto campus last month for the official launch of our fantastic new vocational learning facilities. Employers from the engineering, energy, construction and animal management sectors were invited to tour LMC's innovative Clean Engineering Centre, a range of animal workshops including our dedicated Nocturnal and Aquatic rooms, our fully refurbished Forensic and Science Laboratories and our T Level Learning Zones. 
LMC host 'Future Skills' careers event for primary pupils

In partnership with West End Morecambe Big Local (WEM), the careers team at Lancaster & Morecambe College recently held a successful 3-day “Future Careers” event for year 6 pupils from West End and Sandylands Primary schools.
