This 1-day course is based in the Employer Hub at LMC and is suitable to a wide range of businesses and roles looking to gain knowledge of sustainable practices in the workplace. The Level 1 qualification is worth two credits and is achieved by successfully completing the course workbook.

Course Overview

On this course you will:

  • Learn about the environmental impacts generated by business and how to respond to them

  • Understand what climate change is and why reducing carbon emissions from business is so important

  • Explore your own role and what you can do

Progression Routes

There are a variety of progression opportunities within the College, including;

  • Understanding Business Responses to Environmental Challenges – Level 2

  • Understanding Domestic Retrofit – Level 2

There are no formal entry requirements to this course.

Course Fees

This course costs £20.00, including exam fees.

You may be eligible for free study if you are 23 or under and this is your first full Level 2 or 3 course. Alternatively, if you are unemployed, receiving an eligible benefit, and taking the course to help you find employment.
