Eden Land-based & Animal Studies
We are excited to introduce the new Eden Land-based and Animal Studies programme at LMC in which we will be working collaboratively with the Eden Project in Cornwall to offer a unique learning experience not found anywhere else in the U.K.
The programme will cover the core subjects in animal care and management whilst specialising in wildlife, ecology and conservation. Learners will work alongside a range of small animals held within the college collection as well as gaining valuable experience off-site working within the Morecambe Bay area on social action projects and external work experience.
Learners will be based in the new Eden Learning Hub designed specifically for workshops, events and exhibitions about Eden Project North.
Victoria Bond, Head of Eden Land-based & Animal Studies
“My experience at College was definitely a positive one and made me realise I made the best decision in coming here! The students are really friendly and I’ve made some great friends. The tutors are super helpful, easy to approach and will support you with any troubles you have. The Hex and College computers are really beneficial to get work done.”
