We know that many people who live some distance from Lancaster & Morecambe College would like to study with us. In response to this we offer full-time students (studying 14 hours a week or more) daily return transport on the routes detailed below during term time.
Full time students from the Garstang and Galgate area may apply for a free bus pass to use scheduled buses, please ask at Student Services when you have enrolled.
Even if you don't live on a college bus route, you may still qualify for FREE or discounted travel to college. If you live more than two miles from College and your household income is below £32,000pa, we will provide you with a Stagecoach bus pass which you can also use at evenings and weekends.
All students who are not eligible for a free bus pass can buy a discounted bus pass from The Hex, (see prices below), these passes can also use at evenings and weekends.

I’ve enjoyed meeting new people with similar interests and learning new skills. The course and the tutors are good, the tutors explain in detail and help with any queries or problems. I am happy with what I am doing in the course.
I always struggled at school but managed to excel much greater at college. The environment and support allowed me to be the best version of myself.
Before starting the Apprenticeship I would sit around and not do much, but now I’m motivated to get out of bed because I’m doing something I enjoy, I come here to work and I love it.
The best thing about my course was gaining experience in handling a range of animals both at college and at a placement alongside gaining necessary knowledge through the tutors.
I really enjoyed learning about aviation past and present during the course. The role play situations were also useful as they helped to prepare me for interviews and the world of work.
My biggest accomplishment is achieving a Distinction* on Level 3 Animal Management.
