Gain the specialist barbering skills and knowledge to support your career progression. The Level 3 Certificate in Barbering will develop your skills and techniques from more complex cutting techniques to wet shaving skills. You will attend 1 evening per week and this course includes a mixture of theory and practical. You will need to be qualified at Level 2 (in Barbering) already to join this course.
You will need to source your own models to support you with your learning and practical assessments during the course.
On completion of this course you will receive a City & Guilds Level 3 in Barbering.
- Course Overview
On this course you will cover the following topics:
Health & Safety
Consultation
Cutting men's hair
Cutting facial hair
Provide shaving and face massage
The course is delivered covering both theoretical and practical aspects of the qualification with demonstrations and practical workshops.
You will be expected to undertake an extensive amount of home study on this course.
You will be required to provide your own uniform and cutting kit for the course.

You must also have a Barbering Level 2 Certificate and ESOL applicants must hold a Level 1 Literacy qualification.
- Course Fees
This course costs £1645.00, including exam fees.
You may be eligible for free study if you are 23 or under and this is your first full Level 2 or 3 course. Alternatively, if you are unemployed, receiving an eligible benefit, and taking the course to help you find employment.
