This is a Full Time, one-year course that is geared towards a career in Business and Management. You will usually be in College for two full days per week and will be expected to undertake regular home study. You will develop your knowledge of business and management techniques in order to contribute positively towards the successful running of a business organisation.
You will gain a wide range of business knowledge tied to practical skills gained through research, independent study, directed study and workplace scenarios. You will be involved in vocational activities that help will help you to develop vocational behaviours (the attitudes and approaches required for a competence) and transferable skills. such as communication, teamwork, research and analysis, which are highly valued in higher education and the workplace.

Modules of study and assessment as at point 20. During the course you will be offered the opportunity to see guest speakers and appropriate employer visits to help strenghten your knowledge.
Assessment is through a variety of assignments offering a range of real and simulated assessment activities, for example group work to encourage cooperation and social skills, or a solution focused case study to develop cognitive skills.
By the end of Level 4, you will have sound knowledge of the basic concepts of business, and will be competent in a range of subject-specific skills as well as general skills and qualities relevant to key areas of business.

link with the appropriate professional body e.g. CMI, APM, AAT
commit to continuing professional development,
The entry requirements for this course are:
A relevant qualification with a minimum of 96 UCAS points
or Relevant NVQ Level 3
or Access Diploma
PLUS GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or higher.
