The course is designed to support and enhance the knowledge of existing or prospective drivers who wish to develop or start a career in transporting passengers. Candidates will be introduced to the importance of delivering good customer service and the importance of good communications and positive working relationships.
This course is run in conjunction with Lancaster City Council and is specifically aimed at taxi drivers wanting to learn more about driver safety and to improve their customer service skills.

The course requires the delegate to complete 6 units:
Unit 1 – Health & Safety
Unit 2 – Road Safety When Driving Passengers
Unit 3 – Professional Customer Service
Unit 4 – Regulatory Framework
Unit 5 – Services for passengers that require assistance
Unit 6 – CSE & Safeguarding
Each unit comes with a multiple choice exam to test your knowledge. All units
must be completed and passed to complete the course

There are no formal entry requirements nor any formal assessments for this course and delegates will receive a College certificate upon completion.
This course costs £26.00, including exam fees.
You may be eligible for free study if you are 23 or under and this is your first full Level 2 or 3 course. Alternatively, if you are unemployed, receiving an eligible benefit, and taking the course to help you find employment.
