Every manager needs an understanding of their safety and health responsibilities and the Institution of Occupational Health and Safety’s (IOSH) accredited ‘Managing Safely’ course is ideal for providing an ideal introduction to Health and Safety Management.

The IOSH ‘Managing Safely’ course is unlike any other Health and Safety course because it delivers practical step-by-step guidance with a sharp business focus that’s hands-on and jargon-free. The innovative format and content is engaging and inspiring – critical to embedding safety and health throughout your entire organisation.

Course Overview

The IOSH ‘Managing Safely’ modular programme design ensures learners can work through the course material effectively and efficiently, step by step. However, whilst ensuring the learner is provided with an understanding of Health and Safety Management, the programme also covers basic environmental issues too.

In summary, the course provides:

  • Memorable and thought-provoking facts and case studies

  • Modules backed by clear examples and recognisable scenarios

  • Summaries to reinforce key points

  • Checklists and materials supplied for subsequent use in the workplace

  • Interactive quiz and discussions

On completion of the course, all successful delegates are awarded an IOSH ‘Managing Safely’ certificate. Attendance on all three days is essential to complete all the criteria of this course.

You will also be expected to complete a full risk assessment, you have a two-week window after the course end date to submit this.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements nor any formal assessments for this course.

Course Fees

This course costs £350.00, including exam fees.

You may be eligible for free study if you are 23 or under and this is your first full Level 2 or 3 course. Alternatively, if you are unemployed, receiving an eligible benefit, and taking the course to help you find employment.
