LMC Receives Funding to Support T Level Preparation

Lancaster and Morecambe College (LMC) are thrilled to announce that it will receive significant new capital funding to support its T Level preparation, as announced by Government today. All Further Education colleges who are delivering new T Levels in 2023 and 2024 were invited to submit bids to the T Level Capital Buildings and Facilities Improvement Grant. LMC was successful in its bid, being awarded just under £2,000,000.
Art & Entertainment Industries in Morecambe

Morecambe Business Improvement District (BID) and Lancaster and Morecambe College (LMC) are collaborating with Dave Guest (ex-BBC North West reporter) to produce a series of videos aimed at different industry sectors in the local area to highlight issues around employability and what benefits working in these industries offer.
LMC launches Bay School of Hospitality and announces partnership with Gilpin Hotel

Lancaster & Morecambe College is launching their new Bay School of Hospitality with the exciting news that they have partnered with the award-winning team at Gilpin, one of the region’s top destination venues. The partnership will allow LMC Catering students and apprentices the opportunity to take part in a range of masterclasses and cooking demos with Gilpin’s team of chefs, including Ollie Bridgwater, Aakash Ohol and Tom Westerland, whilst working towards achieving the prestigious Gilpin Ambassador’s Award.
Increased Opportunities for Community Learning at LMC

Having completed a full review of its Adult & Community Education programme, the decision has been taken by Lancaster & Morecambe College to close the Morecambe Learning Centre (MLC) on Euston Road, later this summer.
