We offer Gas Safe accredited training courses in Natural Gas, LPG and Water Regulations for plumbing and heating engineers. We cover North Lancashire and South Cumbria, and are located 5 minutes off J34, M6.
The Salon
The fully equipped salons offer a variety of facial and body treatments and a range of hairdressing services The Salon is open to students and public, and provides a real work environment for our students.

We have several well appointed rooms for hire, our meeting and training rooms are designed for business, with none of the distractions normally associated with hotels. The cost is as attractive as the flexibility, simply book the time you need by the hour, half day or day.

My favourite part of working at Lancaster & Morecambe college is watching students progress and supporting them with their learning. I also love knowing they are learning within a hairdressing environment and being able to see them develop their skills and knowledge in hairdressing.
We have a very knowledgeable and dedicated team from different areas of the animal industry. We offer a range of courses in Animal Studies at different levels to cater for a wide range of students. Practically, you will work with a range of animals on site, spend time in our laboratories and hone your skills further during independent work-related experience. Working with animals can be a fun and rewarding career but it does involve hard graft and dedication!
Try to achieve the best grades you can. As a qualified Carpenter or Joiner, you will have the opportunity to work anywhere in the world.
Even though I only work with learners through distance learning, it is possible to establish a rapport with a learner that has been assigned to me – it is wonderful to help a person develop their confidence through the many distance learning awards we have on offer and to watch their work go from strength to strength.

It’s really difficult to state just one thing I love about working at Lancaster & Morecambe College because there are so many! I really wanted to work here because the college has a fantastic reputation. I love introducing new ways of working and keeping up with relevant trends to improve the course, and I really enjoy the supportive environment that we create for our students.
All you need to start the Supported Internship course is enthusiasm, motivation, energy and determination. As the course progresses, you will develop your employability, personal and social skills, which will enable you to increase your independence and develop your confidence and self-esteem. All of these new skills will ensure that you are better prepared to enter the workplace as a skilled and effective employee.
My favourite part of this role is working with such an amazing team here at Lancaster & Morecambe College, and also being able to pass on my industry knowledge to all my students and support them in their journey to becoming a Beauty Therapist.
I love working with such keen and dedicated staff and students. I also like how every day is different because we attract such a wide range of students including year 11 from local high schools aged 16-18 who apply to the full time courses, to adult students who attend the part time courses. It’s nice to work with so many people from all different backgrounds and cultures who share a passion for cooking.
