Vocational Pathways

The Vocational Pathway encourages students to choose a vocational area that matches their interest, strength, and ambition, and help to:

  • Develop employability skills
  • Gain practical experience
  • Build confidence and independence
  • Prepare for progression into further study, Apprenticeship, Internship, or employment

Vocational Pathways are available in the following subject:

Destination Pathways 

Following completion of a Vocational Pathway, students can progress onto a Destination Pathway which is designed to support their future goals.

Foundation Education offers you the opportunity to sample a range of vocational areas to help find the right one for you. The courses we offer will help you progress into other areas of College, training or employment and give you the skills and confidence to gain relevant qualifications. All courses include work experience or working in real work environments within the College and you will also get the chance to take part in enterprise and fund raising activities throughout the year. This could be your opportunity to progress into the career you want.
