We offer Gas Safe accredited training courses in Natural Gas, LPG and Water Regulations for plumbing and heating engineers. We cover North Lancashire and South Cumbria, and are located 5 minutes off J34, M6.
The Salon
The fully equipped salons offer a variety of facial and body treatments and a range of hairdressing services The Salon is open to students and public, and provides a real work environment for our students.
Employer Hub
We have several well appointed rooms for hire, our meeting and training rooms are designed for business, with none of the distractions normally associated with hotels. The cost is as attractive as the flexibility, simply book the time you need by the hour, half day or day.
The Bay Restaurant
Our award-winning restaurant with its contemporary interior, first class service and mouth-watering menu offers an outstanding real work environment for our Hospitality and Catering students, as well as being a fantastic place to eat out.

Be prepared to work hard and be challenged. The more you put in, the more you will get out of the course. It's a rewarding experience as you can clearly see your skills develop. There is also a great demand for skilled plasterers and the potential for good earnings, so why not give it a go?
All you need to start the Supported Internship course is enthusiasm, motivation, energy and determination. As the course progresses, you will develop your employability, personal and social skills, which will enable you to increase your independence and develop your confidence and self-esteem. All of these new skills will ensure that you are better prepared to enter the workplace as a skilled and effective employee.
If you are interested in finding out more about how children learn and how we best support them, are considering a career in education, child psychology or social work put LMC at the top of your list! We have excellent industry links for placement experience and combined with our experienced and highly qualified lecturers, we can give you a real edge in the world of work or applying for university.
I love working with such keen and dedicated staff and students. I also like how every day is different because we attract such a wide range of students including year 11 from local high schools aged 16-18 who apply to the full time courses, to adult students who attend the part time courses. It’s nice to work with so many people from all different backgrounds and cultures who share a passion for cooking.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience of animals with students and seeing a learners journey as they make progress. The best part of teaching the course would definitely be the experience we offer learners, it's a unique and hands on way of developing their knowledge of working with animals.
My favourite part of my role is being able to recall my industry knowledge and then passing it onto my students. The knowledge I have from working in the industry gives the students a better understanding of real life situations and how to transfer their skills into future careers.
The most satisfying part of my job role is inspiring students to have the confidence to become beauty therapists and work in their dream careers.
My favourite part of my job is helping people achieve their GCSE English, a key qualification which will open doors for them in the future.

LMC is a great community asset and I think the local district are lucky to have such a modern, flexible and engaging place of education.
Welding particularly is like lego for adults – its great fun making things. Whereas Engineering will teach you why things are made the way they are and a combination of both will give you the skills to make almost anything you can think of! Why not give it a go!
If you are interested in working with animals, this is a great course for you! As not only do you gain the knowledge and practical skills to work with animals, but you also gain the employability skills to be able to work in teams and work within the industry. It's important to remember that jobs in the animal industry are not just about working with animals, you need to have the skills to deal with people too!
Try to achieve the best grades you can. As a qualified Carpenter or Joiner, you will have the opportunity to work anywhere in the world.

My favourite part of this role is working with such an amazing team here at Lancaster & Morecambe College, and also being able to pass on my industry knowledge to all my students and support them in their journey to becoming a Beauty Therapist.
The course gives people experiences of business in many forms which can be used in a huge variety of possible future careers – past students have gone on to work in sectors as diverse as fashion, charities, social media, nuclear energy, defence manufacturing and the public sector.
