My biggest accomplishment so far has been passing the tests that come with the theory side of my course.
All of the trips are brilliant as well because we get the opportunity to find out about careers and learn new skills. The Army residential that we went to was really good because we got to see what they do on a daily basis.
The trips that we go on have been amazing. I have been to Bulgaria for a European Project trip, but I am also going to Poland. We also get some really good visitors to the College including the Lancaster Police Dog Unit. I’ve made some new friends and had some great experiences, like organising a sporting event for hundreds of children.
I’d really like to move on to electrics with in motor vehicles, as I’d like to combine working with cars and electrical installation.
I am a very hands on person, with my previous experience in the workplace through Fabrication & Welding I have had experience with tools and it’s something that I enjoy.
Everything was very helpful for securing employment and it has been very helpful with the content of the training required by British Airways. College helped me build my confidence and helped me decide what I wanted to do. The best bit of the course was meeting like-minded people who were really friendly.
Definitely apply if you are thinking about applyig for a job as part of a Cabin Crew as it gives you a head start and helps know what to expect when applying for a job.
The opportunities that I have had for volunteering have been amazing. There has been plenty of chances for me to use the skills that I have accumulated on my course in a real work environment. I also had the chance to go to Bulgaria to coach children which was an amazing experience. I have also had an amazing opportunity to organise a Netball event for primary school children.
I chose this course because I have always loved sports and the outdoors. I could never imagine working indoors for the rest of my life, so I wanted to do something where I could spend lots of time outside and doing things.
The course also offers a really good foundation for going into personal training.
I chose this Apprenticeship with Trust Medical because I have always been interested in the medical health care and industry but I was also interested in the business side of the company, so this Apprenticeship was ideal for me.
The insight in to what the job is actually like was beneficial. The training for interviews and assessment days was a great help when it came to applying for cabin crew positions. The training the tutors provide was amazing and the course is really fun.
I started college with an interest in travel and meeting new people and it’s taken me in an amazing direction. I have now lived in Edinburgh for 6 years and even though moving to the city at 18 was hard at first it’s the best thing I ever did. I have met the most amazing friends and have lots of brilliant memories.
