4 August Brockholes, Preston Based on the site of an old quarry, the Trust has used their expertise to create habitats for lots of different wildlife. You can explore our 250 acre reserve with our network of trails and hides, not to mention the fantastic views offered overlooking the River Ribble. We have planned activities with Brockholes instructors which maybe pond dipping, treasure hunt, den building or something else… all to be revealed closer to the time by Brockholes 10.00am-3.00pm £12.00 
11 August Footgolf, Casterton Footgolf is a fun and exciting new sport played on a golf course with a football. The object of the game is to place the ball into the hole using only your feet in the lowest amount of shots possible. It combines the social aspect of golf with the countries passion for the beautiful game of Football. 10.00am-3.00pm £12.00 
18 August Lakeland Wildlife Oasis Join us on an evolutionary journey spanning over 300,000,000 years, following the development of life on Earth – from magic molecules to mischievous monkeys! We are home to a unique and exciting blend of exotic wildlife and interactive hands-on displays, which makes learning about our amazing animals fun for all the family. Exhibits range from fossils to fossas and include some of the world’s most threatened species, many of which play active roles in international breeding programmes. 10.00am-3.00pm £12.00 
25 August Wild Boar Park, Chipping Enjoy a ramble in our beautiful wooded countryside, view wild boar, longhorn cows and other animals in a scenic Ribble Valley Park. The children will enjoy seeing and feeding farm animals, a tractor ride and a giant adventure play ground. 10.00am-3.00pm £12.00

About our Sports Activity Camp

Welcome to the LMC Children's Summer Sports Camp where we offer children the opportunity to try out our fantastic facilities. We aim to keep your child entertained for the whole of the school holiday. Each day your child will have the opportunity to try out a variety of different sports. LMC Sport & Fitness has a 3G sports pitch, 4 tennis courts, 3 netball courts and a fitness suite (for parents only 16+ age limit). Sessions will be structured enabling your child to learn a variety of new sports over the holiday. We aim to accommodate more children’s needs and tastes and maybe even introduce children to new sports that they may not have tried before.

Drop off and collection

Please make sure a responsible adult drops off and collects your child(ren) from inside LMC Sport & Fitness Centre and signs them in. Written permission must be provided if alternative arrangements are made for pick up.

What to bring with you

  • A still drink in a bottle (water fountains are avaialbe to refill bottles to keep children hydrated)
  • Sun cream and a hat for outside activities
  • Children should be appropriately dressed to participate in sporting activities and wear trainiers/pumps
  • Packed lunch and snack if staying all day, or buy food from the Sports Café (prices from £3.00)

Our staff

All our staff are CRB enhanced checked and suitably qualified in coaching children in the sports we have on offer. Each member of our coaching team offers a variety of different attributes and skills to make sure each child gets the most from our sessions.

Prices

Prices are £10.00 per day for the morning and afternoon sessions or just £5.00 per session. breakfast club costs £2.50 which includes cereal or toast with a glass of juice, so you can now leave your children with us from 8.00am. Special offer - half price for any siblings when booked together in the same sessions.

The College needs to know if your child has any illness, allergy or medical condition that may affect their physical capabilities, please indicate on the booking form. NO mobile phones/i-pads allowed.
