Foundation Education

We believe that offering young people the right support network with a variety of options will motivate and inspire them to achieve. We want students to feel confident and excited about starting Full Time study, which is why our Pathway courses, Bridge to Progression, and Step Up Programme all exist at LMC. From these programmes, students may progress onto Traineeships, Apprenticeships, supported employment or further study within the College.

14-16 Learning at LMC

Some programmes are offered to learners aged 14-16, in specialist cases which are agreed by the school, Student Services, an educational establishment or Local Authorities.

The courses we offer will help you progress into other areas of College, training or employment and give you the skills and confidence to gain relevant qualifications. All courses include work experience or working in real work environments within the College and you will also get the chance to take part in enterprise and fund raising activities throughout the year.

This could be your opportunity to progress into the career you want.
