The LMC Alumni is a network of people who have successfully gained a qualification from Lancaster & Morecambe College. Through the Alumni you will be kept up to date with what’s happening at College, news about all the latest professional courses, access to the brand new state-of-the-art facilities on the College campus plus many discounts on College services and local businesses.

During my time at LMC I have won 3 separate awards for being the “Apprentice of the Year”, one from LMC, one from APSE and also one from Lancaster City Council.


What are the best things about your course?
I really enjoy the practical tasks and challenges, especially in Level 3 where the tasks are more advanced.

Why did you choose your course?
I chose this course to further my career opportunities, I also have a passion for woodwork which has been passed down from my grandfather.

Why did you choose Lancaster & Morecambe College?
I had heard LMC was one of the best colleges for trade based Apprenticeships and hands on experiences.

What would you say to someone who was thinking about doing the course?
Definitely go for it! Expand your potential and practical skills.

What has been your biggest accomplishment whilst studying at LMC?
During my time at LMC I have won 3 separate awards for being the “Apprentice of the Year”, one from LMC, one from APSE and also one from Lancaster City Council.

What would you like to do after this course?
I look to further my knowledge and experience, with the aim to complete a HNC some time in the future.
