The best part was definitely that I met some lifelong friends from college which made those years some of the best of my life. On top of this, there was a lot of creativity that was encouraged when completing the work. Finally, the opportunity for work experience in the Czech Republic inspired my allure for travel around and learn about other countries’ cultures.

What have you done since leaving Lancaster & Morecambe College?
After leaving college I went to study Computer Games Development at the University of Central Lancashire getting involved with leadership development courses and representing the student body at university. Just before graduating with a Second class degree I took a year’s internship to work for Fujitsu in Germany as a Junior QA Tester where I indulged in the culture and language as best I could. I took this opportunity to visit a variety of European countries from Belgium to Poland and many between.

Why did you chose LMC?
LMC was extremely local and I wanted to specialise into Game’s Development which was only taught at LMC unless I were to head out of the local area.

What is your favourite thing about your job?
Certainly, the people first and foremost. There is a healthy amount of banter between the colleagues and they’re great fun to be around. The job also cycles through different tasks and roles on a weekly basis which helps break up the potential monotony of the job.
