Want to make it in the music industry? We know just how hard that can be; that’s why we’ve decided to run the Higher National Certificate in Music. It’s ideal for those who are keen to further develop their knowledge, understanding, skills and techniques as a musician or music producer, in order to find successful employment in the industry. The course fuses performance and production skills with creativity by using advances in computer music and digital recording technology to produce compositions for commercial release. Students will work with state-of-the-art technology and equipment, including a professional recording studio, rehearsal pods and a Mac editing suite. The HNC is an ideal stepping stone to HE study following A-Levels/Level 3 Music or as a stand-alone qualification to update your industry related skill set.
