What do I need to join?

3 GCSEs at grade G/1 or higher PLUS grade F/2 or higher in Maths and English
Entry criteria will be applied at the discretion of the course manager.

General Information

This course will develop your knowledge of working in health and social care and children’s settings and prepare you for progression to Level 2 study in the ‘care’ profession of your choice. You will develop a range of skills, techniques and knowledge in providing care and a good understanding of the principles of care. You will develop interpersonal skills essential for working successfully with children, young people and adults.

Who is this course for?

The course is suitable for school leavers and college students who would like a career in child education or health care services and wish to progress to Level 2 study and eventually into the caring profession of your choice.
