What do I need to join?

You will need:
• To complete a satisfactory initial assessment in literacy skills.
• It may also be useful to have already achieved a Level 1 qualification prior to this qualification.

General Information

This qualification is aimed at anyone wishing to work in adult social care. It doesn’t confirm competence but relates to the knowledge units. The qualification aims to introduce the following subjects; communication; equality, diversity and inclusion; personal development; health and safety; safeguarding; duty of care and the person centred approach.

Distance learning is a great way of learning remotely without being in regular face-to-face contact with a teacher or an assessor. Students have the flexibility to study at home or at work, fitting in their course around other life and work commitments.

Who is this course for?

The course is designed for any learner working or intending to work in health care settings, to develop their knowledge and understanding.
