Melissa chose to study at LMC as it is her local college and offered the course she was looking for. Her apprenticeship enables her to apply the theory and classroom learning from College directly in the workplace, helping her to develop practical skills and build valuable experience.

The best parts of my course are learning new things that help me progress in my career and develop my personal knowledge. I also enjoy meeting other like-minded people on the course, as it creates a great support network.

Our Accounting courses provide the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the industry. Students cover key topics such as preparing financial statements, tax processes, management techniques and the principles of bookkeeping. Studying through an apprenticeship also allows learners to gain valuable practical experience in the workplace.

The course has supported my career progression and given me a better understanding of the processes I complete at work. I have developed a range of valuable skills, particularly learning how to work under pressure and prioritise my workload.
