From the Motorway
• Leave the M6 at J34. • Follow the A683 to Morecambe and Heysham for approximately 2.5 miles. • Take the exit for Lancaster A589. • Lancaster & Morecambe College is ahead on your left. Sports Centre users should use this entrance. • Staff and visitors should continue past the College and take the first exit from the roundabout, continuing on the A589 Morecambe Road. • Take the next left onto Penrhyn Road. Turn left at the end onto Torrisholme Road. • The College main car park is on your left as you come down the hill.
The College is positioned on main cycle paths, including a path from the Morecambe Road entrance right into College. There are secure cycle racks available across campus. Lancaster and Morecambe was one of the original six places to be named a ‘cycling demonstration town' back in 2005. The area has fantastic cycle links and the off-road cycle way runs right next to the college. See the above map for cycling links or click here for the detailed district cycling map.
